FAQ — Carlove Glass

Question 1

Do I really pay $0 for windshield replacement in South Carolina?

Accepted Answer

Yes — in South Carolina, comprehensive deductibles are waived for windshields, and glass claims fall under the 'No-Fault' claims category. If you have comprehensive coverage, your windshield replacement is fully covered at no cost to you. We verify your coverage before any work begins.

Question 2

Which insurance companies do you work with?

Accepted Answer

We work with all major carriers including State Farm, Geico, Progressive, Allstate, USAA, Farmers, Liberty Mutual, and Nationwide. We handle the claim paperwork directly so you don't have to. If you have your insurance company's mobile app, we can guide you through it and get your glass approved and ordered within minutes.

Question 3

What if I'm paying out of pocket?

Accepted Answer

No problem — we offer competitive pricing for out-of-pocket customers. Contact us for a free quote and we'll give you an honest price upfront with no surprises.

Question 4

Will filing a glass claim affect my insurance rates?

Accepted Answer

In South Carolina, glass claims are classified as 'No-Fault' claims, which means they typically do not affect your insurance premiums. We recommend confirming with your specific carrier, but in most cases your rates are not impacted.

Question 5

Where do you provide service?

Accepted Answer

We serve Charleston SC, Conway SC, Columbia SC, Florence SC, Myrtle Beach SC, Greenville SC, Tampa FL, and Orlando FL. Contact us to confirm availability in your specific area.

Question 6

How quickly can you come to me?

Accepted Answer

CarLove Glass can replace or repair your glass within 24 business hours, 99% of the time, at your job or home. Call us or book online and we'll confirm your appointment.

Question 7

Is there an extra charge for mobile service?

Accepted Answer

No. Mobile service is included at no extra cost. We believe convenience shouldn't come with a premium — we come to you as part of our standard service.

Question 8

What glass do you use?

Accepted Answer

We utilize the same OEM glass distributors as the dealers for our parts and materials. High quality parts and highly skilled technicians make for a seamless installation and an exceptional experience.

Question 9

What is ADAS recalibration and do I need it?

Accepted Answer

ADAS stands for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. If your vehicle has a forward-facing camera mounted to the windshield (used for lane departure warning, collision detection, etc.), it must be recalibrated after a windshield replacement. We handle this as part of the service for equipped vehicles.

Question 10

What warranty do you offer?

Accepted Answer

Each installation is backed by a lifetime workmanship warranty for as long as you own or lease your vehicle. Damage not resulting from defective workmanship or materials is expressly excluded from coverage under this warranty.
